  • In January, Vietnam market announced a total closed deal size of more than USD134m, in which the manufacturing sector was the key contributor with a USD70m deal

  • An unknown buyer agreed to acquire Capital Place in Hanoi from CapitaLand Vietnam Commercial Value-Added Fund managed by CapitaLand Investment Limited (SGX:9CI) for approximately SGD750m on January 20, 2022

  • Regarding Energy sector, AC Energy Vietnam Investments Pte. Ltd. signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 49% stake in Sinenergy Ninh Thuan I Solar Power Plant in Vietnam (Solar NT) from Super Energy Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. for USD165m on January 28, 2022

  • GELEX Group Joint Stock Company announced that it has issued 851,495,793 common shares at an issue price of VND4,128.4488 per share for gross proceeds of VND3,515,356,784,816 in a round of funding on January 19, 2022

  • The majority of technology deals are dominated by cryptocurrency startups with a total of USD14m raised, notable names include Skrice Studios, Space Falcon Limited, and Ancient8
