  • February was a slow month with a total deal size of USD386m, mostly due to Tet holiday when businesses put their feet on the brake

  • The Financial sector was the key contributor with USD196m, mainly coming from the public offering of stock trading company VIX

  • Real Estate market is the next highest contributor with USD91m, led by the private placement of USD44m of Transport and Industry Development Investment JSC and the USD32m M&A between developer Sunshine Homes and construction company Xuan La

  • Energy sector saw Bamboo Capital raising USD52m after its latest private placement

Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company announced a private placement of 60,000,000 shares of par value, VND 10,000 at a price of VND 20,000 per share for gross proceeds of VND 1,200,000,000,000 on February 18, 2022. The transaction was approved by board of directors of the company. The company expects to close the transaction in 1st and 2nd quarters of 2022, after being approved by the State Securities Commission.
